Due to the entry in force of the landmark modification of the “Ley de Servicios de la Sociedad de la Información” (LSSICE) set forth in the Royal Decree 13/2012, it is compulsory to obtain the express consent of the user of all the web pages that use dispensable cookies, before the user browses through them.

WHAT ARE COOKIES?

• Social cookies: which are necessary for external social networks.
• Affiliate cookies: which permit tracking the visits from other websites, with which the website establishes an affiliation contract (affiliated companies).

• ac_cookies: a technical and strictly necessary cookie that contains the value of whether the installation of cookies has been accepted. It expires one year after the last update.

When this user returns to the website with the same browser, the cookie will consider that it is the same user. Only in the case where the user changes browsers will it be considered another user. It expires two years from the last update.
• _gat: This cookie is associated with Google’s Universal Analytics. It is used to limit the speed of request - the limitation of the collection of data in the sites with high traffic. It expires after ten minutes.
• _utma: a Google Analytics cookie that records the date of the first and last time that the user visited the website. It expires two years after the last update.
• _utmb: a Google Analytics cookie that records the time of arrival at the website. It expires 30 minutes after the last update.
• _utmc a Google Analytics cookie used for the interoperability with the urchin.js tracking code. It is deleted when the browser is closed.
• _utmt: a Google Analytics cookie that is used to process the type of application requested by the user. It expires at the end of the session.
• _utmv: a Google Analytics cookie used to segment demographic data. It expires at the end of the session.
• _utmz: a Google Analytics cookie that stores the traffic source or a campaign to explain how the user reached the website. It expires six months after the last update.

1. Select Tools | Internet Options.
2. Click the General tab.
3. In the “Exploration history” section, click on delete browsing history on leaving.
