A flamenco dancer (bailaor) from Córdoba, born in 1997, his flamenco dancing career combines formal training, experience with major companies and a powerful stage presence.

Manuel Jiménez Montes: flamenco dance training

Manuel began his dance training in Córdoba with María “La Chata”, a key figure in his early artistic development. He later continued his professional training at the Luis de Río Professional Dance Conservatoire, where he refined his technique in Spanish dance and flamenco.

Driven by a desire to deepen his understanding of flamenco, he moved to Madrid to complete further studies in flamenco dance pedagogy at the María de Ávila Higher Dance Conservatoire. 

This academic training not only strengthened his technical skills but also enhanced his theoretical and teaching knowledge of flamenco.

Beyond formal education, Manuel has learned from the artists he has worked with and shared flamenco tablaos with. This artistic exchange has been essential in shaping his style and broadening his vision of flamenco dance.
